How to add payer to Practice Insurance list from Master Insurance List

If you received the response below for an insurance validation request OR you are adding a payer by searching the Master Insurance List Lookup tool, please see steps below. 

“This plan is currently available in our master plan list. Please search by the address 1 field only, with the numeric portion (ex. 61010). Our latest release gives users with Account Manager Privileges access to Insurances Settings to edit/update the practice account insurance list. Please refer to the Knowledge Base article link below for instructions to maintain the list for insurance name, address, payer id, or insurance type changes.”

It appears that this plan already exists in the master insurance list and can be located by searching with numeric segment only in the P O Box / Street address field:

If the phone number you have requested could not be found, we suggest you choose one of the plans without a phone number by clicking on the line and then Select Plan.

After adding the plan to your Insurance List, the link provided in the email gives step-by-step instructions on editing your practice insurance list.

Once you have edited the plan under the settings tab, launch Billing Manager. Using the edit button, the phone number can be added or edited, using the Edit (...) once the plan has been selected from your dropdown list:

If you do not see the newly added plan in the dropdown list, refresh the insurances in the Billing Manager:
