PBI 1247: New Download URL

For Connect 2.0, the download URL is https://downloads.practiceadmin.com/connect/connect.application


PBI 408: Rebrand as “PracticeAdmin Connect”

Login Screen changed with new graphic, product name, and standard PracticeAdmin layout.

Screen opens to a pre-set size in the center of the screen and has  ‘PracticeAdmin Connect’ as the window title. Copyright notice is left-justified in bottom left corner and version info is  right-justified in bottom right corner.







PBI 409: Update Main Menu


  1. Removed unused File menu item

  2. Removed unused Edit menu item

  3. Renamed "Configure" menu item to "Settings"

  4. Renamed Configure > Modify Physician Translation Table to "Maintain Provider Translation Table"

  5. Renamed Configure > Modify Insurance Translation Table to "Maintain Insurance Translation Table"

  6. Moved "Manage PA Share Logins" option from old Setup menu to Configure (Settings) menu

  7. The Settings > "Manage PA Share Logins" option is only be displayed if User Security Level = SysAdmin

  8. Removed now empty Setup menu

  9. Added Help menu to right of Settings menu

  10. Added About as a choice to Help menu

PBI 410: Update Main Screen

  1. Changed labels of queues as follows:

    1. "Patient Status" to "Patients"

    2. "Insurance Status" to "Insurance Plans"

    3. "Claim Status" to "Charges"

    1. Replaced "FULL" label in bottom-right corner with version number 2.0.0.n

PBI 420: Retain the chosen sort order of all windows

The applet now retains the chosen sort order of all windows. In the prior version, for example, in the “Insurance Plan Not Found” queue, after sorting the upper right pane by insurance plan, and then mapping the plan, the pane refreshed and went back to the default sort order. This no longer happens.


PBI 407: Update .NET Framework to v4.6.2

All Connect components have been updated to Microsoft .NET Framework Version 4.6.2.


Bug 423: Error on login if account has non-null value facility_group.default_facility_id

Fixed an issue where Login screen produced an error if the user was linked to an account that had a non-null value in the facility_group.default_facility_id.


Bug 424: Respect the password expiration settings in ProviderSuite

Fixed an issue where Connect 1.8 did not respect the ProviderSuite “Never Expire Password” flag and incorrectly forced a password reset periodically.
