GEMs Search

ProviderSuite includes the General Equivalency Mapping (GEM) database developed by CMS.

In Billing Manager
Click on "GEMs Search"
Enter the ICD-9 code and you will see the results for ICD-10
You can also check the Reverse look up box and enter ICD-10 info and receive the ICD-9 code.

The GEMs tools is also available on the Billing Manager > Claim - Details screen when selecting ICD codes for use on the claim.
