How to update the Policy / Group number field for Workers Compensation Plans
Please follow these steps to update the Policy/Group No for patients with Workers Compensation Insurance Plans:
Billing manager > Claim General> PT ACCT# (?) > Click on (...) for patient demographics page > On the Patient Info Tab Click on (...) to the right of "Employers > Click on the (...) to the right of "Insurance Plan" name > Remove the Policy/Group No that was entered here > Click Save > Re-Submit your claim as "New" and the updated field will pull into the claim details.
*Keep in mind you do not want to add patient specific details to an Insurance plan.
