How to resolve PA not launching (Billing Manager and Schedule Manager) 2025

How to resolve PA not launching.

With the recent updates to Google Chrome, PA is now recommending that you use Microsoft Edge when working inside of PA/EBM/PBM. Below are the steps that we recommend to resolve this problem.

1.     Make sure that you are using Microsoft Edge for your browser.

2.  Once on here go ahead and head over to PA/EBM/PBM, and sign in.

3. Then head over to whatever you are trying to launch, either billing, appointments, payments, etc.…. Then hit the Launch button. In this case Im doing “billing”

4.  Once I click that I get this promoted, click ok and then download the add application that is needed for PA/EBM/PBM.

5.  Then wait for that to install, and you should be all good to go from there.

6. If you are not able to get to the last 2 steps we will do some other things first then try again. 

7.  How to clear the cache

     a. Open edge and then on the far right side there are 3 dots that have a drop down list. From there hit the setting’s option.


           b. From the settings page, there is a search box on the top left; type in cache and then you should see the Clear browsing data " tab that will say “choose what to clear”
      c. Now click on that option and then make sure your tab looks like this:


d. You can now hit clear now. After that, close out all the edge tabs that you have open. From there, you can now open a new Edge browser instance.

8. Once that is complete, try steps 4-6 again and see if that lets you in. If not, then you might need to check to see if there are any click-once add-ons in Edge. For this, look right here to see if there is any. If there is, you are going to want to click the three dots and “remove from Edge.”
