How to post a denial in ProviderSuite

1. To post a denial, start by checking the Post one detail at a time box, then select the transaction Insurance Denied.

2. Tab over and enter into the Remarks the denial reason, then post the transaction by clicking on the
+ Add button.

3. When posting denials, note that Billing Manager has several denial type transactions that can assist
you in communicating with the patient. These descriptions are included in patient statements. For
example Insurance Denied - Contact your insurance co.

4. Once you have posted all your denial transactions, click the Save button to post the transactions
selected.

5. Claims with denial transactions will show on the Today Screen.
