(Note: This set of release notes includes items from both 7.4.1 and 7.4.2 as 7.4.1 was a limited release to certain customers but is now being released with 7.4.2 to all customers.)
From Billing Applet>Payments> Patient Payments>New -> no radio button under Payment Type is preselected.
From Billing Applet>Payments> Patient Payments>Edit Payment -> the Type radio buttons is editable.
Label added of "DOS:" to the left of the DOS date field
Existing "Payment Date" label is changed to "Date Received"
If a user is entering a New payment or Editing an existing payment and the user enters a future date into the Date Received field, the user no longer gets a pop-up warning message "Date received cannot be a future date"
The payment with the future Date Received will fall into the Accounting Period based on that future date.
The Billing applet look on ‘ Today ‘ screen has been modified for large, modern monitors. Claim list panel is very narrow now resulting in an undesired left-right scroll bar.
Billing Applet > Payments > Batch > ERAs > ERA Lookup > Posted, Pending Review > Refresh ERA List > select a batch with more in number of rows count.
No “ Timeout error “ popup will show up for 20 minutes timeframe and notified with pop-up text which states “Due to the complexity of the data, it may take more than 10 minutes to open this ERA.”
Billing Applet > Payments > ERAs > ERA Lookup > pull an ERA > go to ERA Details tab and verify the Patient names in the record.
The EOB Printing now shows patient names correctly.
Billing > Patients > Pt Demographics > Phone Detail>
Name of the section changed from "Phone Detail" to "Contact Information"
Email field from ALL UPPERCASE to all lowercase.

Billing Applet reports ( Combined Report v3 and Combined report v4 ) now have the ability to include today’s date in the Start date and End date fields and run the reports.
Today Screen> Double Click on Imported Charges bucket > Double Click on a claim in the list to the right > Go to Claim- Final Tab> Select "For Review"
Then, Today Screen > Double Click on Imported Charges bucket > Double Click on a claim in the list to the right > Go to Claim - Details Tab make any updates to service line details> Save> Click Alt-S
Alt-S now correctly releases the claim.
Today Screen> Imported Charges bucket> double click> then click the Bulk Release button in bottom right corner.
The claims are now released from the Imported charges bucket since in Claim General Tab> Employer field is defaulting with the information.
From Today screen > Double Click on Imported Charges to load claims in the filter > Select ‘Bulk Release’ button
All the claims are now released to ‘Awaiting Claim File Creation’ bucket if the claims are passing all the conditions
Go to ‘Awaiting Claim File Creation’ bucket, the claims now show up in the bucket and user can filter.
This issue has been resolved.
There will be no error on closing the payment application Unapplied payment.
Workflow:
Bring a patient into context.
Select Patient Payment from the Menu dropdown
Select ‘Open’ in Patient Payments dialog
select one of the Unapplied payments from the available list and hit ‘Go to Payment’ button
Close the Payment application
The application will close without any error.
Billing Applet > Pull a claim > Go to Claim-Final > Print Claim > Print will now not throw an error and user can print the claims.
User associated with only one account or the first account in the list by performing below workflows will not make the Account dropdown blank.
Upon selecting 'New' Claim
Upon Releasing a claim ( all the options in Claim-Final related to Release button )
Upon deleting a claim
Upon Void a claim
Pull an existing claim and pull another patient using Binocular search will reload the claim with new patient.
Anesthesia checkbox will be checked for existing claims pulled
Workflow:
Pre-requisite A - PAWebapp > Settings > Account > Anesthesia practice checked and
Pre-requisite B - PAWebapp > Settings > Facilities > Anesthesia Facility checkbox checked.
Pull an existing Anesthesia claim
Go to Claim-Detail, the claim will be defaulting to the next ( new ) service line
‘Anesthesia’ checkbox should be checked.
Workflow:
Pull “Pending Payer Paper Claim” bucket
Click on Bulk Rebill button
In the popup box check the “Take these claims off hold” box and click Ok
The next popup box will now show text as “ These claims will be moved to Awaiting Claim File Creation’
Billing Applet> Claim-General > Tab Order on ‘Relevant Dates’ and ‘Condition Related’ is fixed.
Corrected Tab Order is now from Current: --> Date control--> show last --> Other: --> .... --> Claim Detail Window
